The Best Pecan Pie
1 cup white corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. lemon juice
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 9-inch pie shellPreheat oven to 425 degrees.
Combine all ingredients but nuts. Stir until well blended. Stir in nuts. Pour into 9" unbaked pastry shell.
Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees.Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
