To play, choose the correct link from within the program. Your printer's print screen will come up, and you
can control the printing from there. After the page is printed, have some fun coloring the Thanksgiving picture
off-line! Easy, huh!
Here's an example of the screen you'll see when you click the link called, "Write a letter to Tommy Turkey."
Have some fun sending a letter to Tommy Turkey. He'll write you back, too.
Just choose the correct link from within the program, fill in a few details to personalize your letter,
and you're set. A cool screen will appear showing a witch delivering your mail. After a bit,
your printer's "print screen" dialogue box will appear. You control the printing of the
Turkey's letter back to you from there. That's it!
No personal information from the program is sent anywhere except to a small
file on your computer, which you can delete any time you want. If you want to delete that file,
it's called "profile.txt" and can be found in the same directory where you downloaded the program.
This is a free, fun game to download and play on- or off-line.
To get the file, download the .exe (windows executable) file by clicking on any of the images or the link above.
The file is called "TurkeyLetterBD.exe" (about 1.05 mb) in case you forget.
Remember where you save the file!
To run the program, just double-click on the .exe file. That's it! To un-install the game, simply
delete the .exe file from your computer.
As with all games, your folks should test them first to see how the game is played. The grown-ups might
want to play too! However, the grown-ups might need to show little ones what the game does, and how it
is played. It's so easy, though, you can't miss!
When the program starts up, it will cover up your entire screen. To see what's behind the game, toggle
back and forth with your keyboard. Sometimes all you have to do is press the "Esc" key; sometimes you
have to press the "Alt" and "Tab" keys simultaneously. If all else fails, click the "Exit" button from
within the program!
