Bugs on a Log - another cool recipe for a fun summer picnic

Tuna Treasure Boats

1 can of tuna
1/4 cup pickle relish
1/4 cup mayonnaise
4 unsliced hot dog buns
2 slices American cheese
Pretzel sticks (the long thin ones)

Mix tuna, pickle relish and mayonnaise.
Hollow out center of the buns.
Spoon tuna filling in the hollow of the buns.
Cut the cheese diagonally. Fit each triangle of cheese on a pretzel stick to make a sail.
Stick the sail into the tuna-filled boats.

Ahoy! Watch out for pirates! Four tuna boats for you and your friends. You have more than four friends? Make more boats.

Don't like tuna? Substitute chopped cooked chicken and have chicken boats. Or, try a peanut butter and jelly filling.
