Sculpting with Salt Dough

Learn to Sculpt with Salt Dough

Preserving your Masterpiece:

After it has been baked, paint your sculpture with a coat of lacquer.  Use either spray lacquer or paint it on with a brush.  Either matt finish or glossy finish lacquer is fine.  Make sure you cover all surfaces on the object.  If you've decorated your sculpture with dried flowers or other objects, make sure you cover those with lacquer as well.  Last, if the lacquer seems thin, use two coats.
