Decorate a Vase

Make something from nothing:  Find a discarded soda bottle.  Get some help cutting off the top.  Then decorate the vase with lots and lots of small items that aren't needed anymore.  For example, buttons, ribbon, dry noodles, colored paper, pictures from magazines, painted milk caps.  One cool thing to do is to wind string around the bottle until it's covered all the way.  Be sure to glue it down as you go along.  Apply the decorations to the string.  When you're finished decorating, fill the vase with water and find some flowers to put inside.  If you can't find fresh flowers, try making some flowers from construction paper and pipe cleaners!
