Nature Walk

What grows in your neighborhood:  Take a notebook and pencil and go on a nature walk around your neighborhood.  Make a list of the trees and flowers you are able to name.  Draw a small sketch of each one.  For those you can't name, check your library or look on the internet for pictures of similar leaves or flowers.  If you visit another area of the country, try this there.  You'll be surprised how many different plants grow in different places.
