Greenhouse

Make a greenhouse:  In a quart size jar, layer the bottom with pebbles then put soil on top.  Plant a small plant in the soil in the middle of the jar.  Water the plant once a week and watch it grow!  (Use a cutting from a plant, such as a stem cut from a mint plant to get started.)
