Create a tribute scrapbook for someone special: Who is special to you? A
brother or sister, a parent or grandparent? A teacher, maybe, or just a special
friend. A tribute scrapbook is certain to brighten anyone's life!
First, get a notebook of some sort for your scrapbook. If you can't locate an
extra notebook, punch three holes in the left side of several sheets of plain paper
and make a cover from stiff construction paper or cardboard you can decorate later.
Choose a theme to decorate the scrapbook. For example, if it's for someone whose
birthday is in July and they like the ocean, a shell theme would work well.
Next, think of things you like about your special person. Are they funny?
Do they like to travel? Do they like animals? Did you have a happy time
with them you'd like to memorialize? Then, go through your list and make a page
for each item on your list.
If you have photographs to paste into the scrapbook, that's great. If you don't,
just draw things yourself. Here's a tip, but it will take time to get together:
If you know friends or family of the person you're making the scrapbook for, contact
them and ask them to write a short note saying something nice about the person.
If you can, get a photo of each person writing a note to add to the scrapbook along
with their note.
