Mimic a Master
Create a painting with dots: Use whatever you like, watercolors, crayons,
markers, or colored pencils, and draw something using only dots. No lines!
A famous painter, Georges Seurat, used this technique very successfully. Up
close, you'll see the individual dots, but when you stand back from your drawing,
you'll see the whole image. Try using primary colors (red, blue and yellow)
and "mix" them by planting various color dots close together. Close up, they'll
look like separate blue and red dots, but back up a few feet and you'll see a
luminescent purple. Very cool!
