Grow a Flower

Plant a seed and watch a flower grow:  Ask your folks if you can plant some seeds outside in your yard.  If you don't have a yard, find some discarded containers or flower pots and use those.  You'll need to purchase your seeds from the store.  They're usually available at home stores, discount stores and, of course, gardening stores.  Make sure you read the instructions on the seed packet before you choose your seeds!  You can't grow a 6-foot tall sunflower in a 3-inch pot!  Follow the planting instructions on your seed packet, water once a week, and watch your garden grow!  Don't forget to weed!
