Ham Meatballs with Sour Cream Sauce
  • l pound ground ham
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground lean pork
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup saltine cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup whipped dessert topping
  • 3 tablespoons horseradish
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Mix together the ham, pork, eggs, milk, and cracker crumbs in a bowl.  Form into 20 meatballs and place them in a single layer in a baking pan.

Mix together the vinegar, water, brown sugar and mustard.  Pour over the meatballs.  Bake the meatballs for 2 hours in a 325 degree oven.  Serve with sour cream sauce.

Sour Cream Sauce

Mix together 1 cup sour cream, 1 cup of whipped dessert topping, and 3 tablespoons horseradish.  Serve with ham meatballs.
